Context

Zenon Research is a non-profit organisation aiming at analysing, with a scientific approach, trends in climate solutions and identifying promising technologies that will reduce emissions and remove CO2 from the atmosphere.

Zenon’s proposition is twofold:

• A holistic vision: a technology needs an economic model and a market to be able to develop. It is integrated into an ecosystem, itself in constant motion.
• An efficiency-driven approach: Efficiency and the ability to scale quickly are our focus for technology. Climate solutions must maximise the amount of greenhousegasesavoidedorremovedwhile minimisingnegative externalities.

The field of energy/climate tech is booming. It is difficult for professionals wishing to understand its challenges to keep pace with technological advances and assess their medium-term potential.

Zenon provides the keys to understanding these technologies to enable a community of decision-makers, companies, investors and entrepreneurs to seize opportunities and accelerate the emergence of technologies that will have a significant impact in the fight against global warming.

Zenon develops and leads a community of committed professionals who want to understand the climate technology ecosystem and want to create connections that allow them to have the maximum impact to accelerate the low-carbon transition.

Zenon organises events for its community, of which Altiplano Open Research is a part, with high-level experts and decision-makers. The “Dialogues de Zenon” are monthly meetings whose objective is to share research and reflections on themes related to climate technologies and in which Altiplano Open Research participates.
